KELLY HUBERT
Liv Life Foundation was created because of my daughter, Livia Grace. I am Kelly Hubert, wife to Jake, mom to Liv(4) and Finley Faith(2). This Foundation has given me an area to focus and harness good from getting such a life changing diagnosis for my child. I'm determined to try to make a difference for children affected with MPS and their families. Other than the Foundation, my daily focuses are of my kids, husband, running/exercising, and reading His word. My Christian Faith and values are what I pour into every aspect of life. I'm excited for the future of Liv Life Foundation. I hope you will follow us on this journey and want to find ways to help this organization succeed.

JACOB HUBERT
My name is Jake Hubert, and I've been blessed with 2 beautiful daughters and the best wife a man could ask for. I grew up in a small town in Illinois and still love being around small-town USA. I grew up in a family with strong christian values, and while there were some bumps along the way, I experienced a docile yet fun childhood. As an adult enjoy working out, outdoor activities, video games, hanging out with friends, and especially making memories with my wonderful family. Unfortunately on 7/8/09, my life took a turn for the worse. I found out my oldest daughter, Livia, has a terminal illness called Sanfilippo Syndrome. I'll never forget hearing my dad cry on the phone that day when I told my parents.
I've never heard my dad cry before despite losing his youngest brother, mother, and father all in the same year. I had no idea how I was going to make it through life knowing I was likely to outlive my own child. I found solace in God and prayer and eventually figured out I could struggle with everything I will probably miss out on if Livia had no disability or I could relish in the time I do get to spend with her. That's when I decided to live my life as much as I could with what means I had. It's difficult to find the energy each and every night after a hard day's work, but I make certain I spend time every night I physically can playing and/or reading with my daughters and wife. Thanks to Livia, I live life more so now than ever, which is why my wife and I founded the LivLife Foundation. I now pray for everyone to be able to make the most of whatever situation they may be facing in their life, to find solace in the Lord, and I hope everyone is able to experience as much happiness as I am able to with my family. Best of wishes to you all. Thank you for reading, and may God bless you all.

GINNY SMITH
My name is Ginny Smith. I am currently a stay home mom or "domestic diva" as I call it. From the time I was a little girl I always wanted to be a mom so I'm living my dream thanks to my dear, sweet, supportive husband Craig. We have three children - Quentin (8), Collin (6) and Allie (5). Before becoming a mom, I worked for the American Cancer Society for 7 years. In those years, I did everything from community programming to fundraising to staff and volunteer training. Throughout my life I have always been involved with my church whether it be teaching a Sunday school class, singing in the choir, or helping in whatever capacity was needed . I love Jesus and thrive off serving Him!
My family has built our lives around His word and we strive to bring glory and honor to Him in all that we do. I enjoy reading, running, shopping and hanging out with my girlfriends. Speaking of girlfriends... I met Kelly Hubert a little over two years ago. I feel in love with her and her precious girls ( I love Jake too but those girls are adorable!!!). Shortly after we met, Livia was diagnosed with Sanfilippo. As a friend, as a fellow mom, and as a Christian, I want to do all I can to help the Huberts in the fight to find a cure for our Livia. And I think all of us would call her "our" Livia.... we love her so much!!

JULIE NEWMAN
I have three three beautiful children: Zachary (8), Seth (5) and Kaiya (3). I am married to my best friend, Ron, who is a Realtor and together we operate a property management company in Rockford, Illinois. I currently live in Roscoe and that is where we met the Huberts - they are our neighbors! Instantly, our families became friends and we enjoy watching our children play together.
The Huberts hold a special place in my heart and I want to do all that I can do to help spread awareness about MPS and help their fight to find a cure that will save Livia and the lives of all the other beautiful children that are affected by Sanfillippo. God is my strength as well as the strength of LivLife and I am excited to be a part of this Foundation and to see all that He has in store for its future.
